SURVEY TRAINING...
Training is required for participation on TDP research surveys. TDP members must be 18 years of age to particiapte in surveys.

Training workshops are held in both the Atlanta and Savannah areas, beginning at 10:00AM and usually ending around noon.
The program devotes the first hour to the Bottlenose Dolphin and the second hour is a workshop on how to conduct research surveys. If you are not interested in participating in surveys but would like ot learn more about our estuarine dolphins, you are welcome to attend the first hour of the training workshop.

All are invited to attend the dolphin program/training workshop but be advised that some presentation material may not be suitable for very young children.

There is no charge for the orientation or training. Members do pay their own survey expenses which are tax-deductible; those costs will be explained during the orientation and are also located on the SURVEY page under the RESEARCH tab. There are minimal survey fees involved for Team Leaders, Assistants and Photographers.
